This is the official “issue” Fighting Load Carrier vest which the USMC distributes to deploying units, in addition to other items in the MOLLE / ILBE ensemble.

This is the “base” load-carrying vest, which comes in MARPAT COYOTE BROWN pattern and forms the core of all other MOLLE configurations: Rifleman Set, SAW Gunner Set, Pistolman Set, Grenadier Set, and Medic Set. It is fully adjustable for all waist sizes and includes a zippered front closure as well as a Fastex buckle.

The top part is nylon mesh to allow for cool, breathable wear and has nylon webbing straps everywhere to custom configure all your gear and pouches.
The waist is padded all around for comfort and also has nylon webbing straps. There is a full zipper front with 2 quick release chest straps.
All MOLLE ILBE gear is interchangeable and works together for custom configuration of all your tactical gear. One size fits all.
The height is adjustable using the rear webbing straps, and the waist features a sideways ‘T’ shaped webbing tab on each side that can be slotted in at any place on the belt to adjust width.
The vest is covered in MOLLE straps. It can be zipped, buckled or both and can be worn over body armor.
